The market door puzzle uses a four-digit code tied to a hopscotch drawing in town square. Each square on the drawing is colored and numbered, but the mapping randomizes per player when Act 1 loads. SUPER SKELETON STUDIO uses this design to prevent global code sharing and keep horror pacing personal.
You must restore power with seven fuses before the market door keypad accepts input. Attempting entry during blackout phases fails even if you guess digits correctly.
Reading Your Hopscotch Board
Visit town square during daytime when visibility is highest. Locate the hopscotch chalk pattern on the ground or adjacent wall prop—exact placement is documented on the town square map page. Identify four distinct colors highlighted for the puzzle (not every decorative color on the board participates).
Write each participating color and its associated number in left-to-right order matching the door prompt sequence shown when interacting with the keypad UI. Some sessions highlight order with arrow decals; if not, follow top-to-bottom hopscotch tradition used in Act 1 builds verified April 2025.
Entering the Market Door
Approach the market door after power restoration. The keypad displays color slots rather than a plain numeric field. Match each slot color to your hopscotch number. Enter digits using the color buttons, not physical number keys if the UI separates them.
If entry fails, walk back to town square and re-read colors under different lighting—night neon can tint perception. Confirm you did not transpose two colors with similar hues such as red versus orange variants.
