Threadville Controller Controls
Gamepad control reference for Threadville Act 1 on Roblox Xbox, PlayStation, and Bluetooth controllers.
Standard Gamepad Layout
Left stick moves character. Right stick controls camera. A or Cross confirms interact when prompts show. B or Circle cancels menus. X or Square may open inventory depending on Roblox controller scheme. Shoulder buttons sprint or shift camera in some Roblox defaults—verify in Roblox settings before Act 1 night segment.
Controller players benefit from analog movement for fine bush positioning when Rocky patrols near fuse spawns.
Interact and Inventory
Face interact button at fuses, doors, minigames, lunchbox, and gate. D-pad or bumper inventory shortcuts vary by Roblox version—open full backpack menu if shortcuts confuse. Equip fuse before power box approach each trip.
Rumble feedback may trigger during chase segments if enabled in Roblox settings.
Sprint and Crouch
Left stick click or dedicated sprint button runs chase segments. Crouch often maps to right stick click or bumper—test in garden prologue. Oliver tunnels demand held crouch without accidental stand-up from stick drift—calibrate deadzones in system settings.
Stick drift causes missed jumps in debris tunnels; fix hardware before difficult chase attempts.
Camera Item on Controller
Equip Camera from inventory, aim with right stick, activate with use button binding. Stun window is short—practice on first fuse Rocky approach. Combine with bush hiding when stun misses due to stick aim.
Charlotte minigame on controller uses same interact patterns as tetherball timing minigames elsewhere in Roblox.
Menu Navigation for Codes
Hopscotch color entry uses d-pad or stick to highlight colored market buttons. Enter personal digits carefully—no undo spam if Rocky approaches. Pause menu screenshot unavailable on console—memorize two colors at a time walking between board and door.
Co-op with PC friend reading colors while controller player enters digits works well.
Platform Notes
Xbox Roblox app and PC with Xbox controller share similar bindings. PlayStation controllers on PC may need Steam Input mapping for consistent interact buttons.
Console Threadville players should enable crossplay voice for hopscotch coordination.
